Junior Presentation Night - Friday 14 October 2011

This event was held in the Club room for the first time to celebrate the younger players' achievements, hosted by Club Chairman Frank Rowell who commented on some excellent team performances and thanked U15 Team manager Adie Ratcliffe, Team Co-ordinator Jill Bell and player Admin Kath Gower. Also thanks were expressed to parents for their essential help and support with lifts and in the kitchen on matchdays.
Frank also spoke about the vital role that many of these youngsters are playing in the senior sides on a regular basis and how pleasing it is to see every one of them improvng and becoming better players and young people.
Vice-captain Jamie Rowell presented medals to all the 2011 players then individual trophies as follows:
Under 15s: Batting: L.Gallagher; Bowling - W.Yildiz; Fielding - E.Holdsworth.
Under 17s: Batting - S.Bell; Bowling - R.Ives; Fielding - W.Yildiz.
The Tom Barritt Trophy was presented to H.Reynoldson - this is for the most all-round, improved young player.

Thanks were also given to Frank himself who is stepping down from the U17 manager role after 4 years.
